Blaire Krekel Shine Bright Foundation

Thank you for visiting our page and learning more about our family. We are happy you are here.

Our daughter, Blaire Nicole Krekel, was a special little girl. She was born July 2017 and passed away suddenly January 2020 from unknown complications due to RSV and croup while under observation at Seattle Children's. Her passing crushed our family. Despite our overwhelming grief we knew one thing instantly: we would help people in her name- 'Shine Bright for Blaire' as that is what she did everyday. In her 2.5 years she gave the love in her heart freely to everyone she met, people and animals alike. Blaire never met a stranger, gave the best hugs and was always happy to see you. Her favorite things in life were her big sister (Brynn), dancing, animals, going to preschool, Frozen, Paw Patrol and her friends and family.

To honor our little girl with a big impact, we have partnered with Renton Regional Community Foundation to collect donations for charitable causes. We will enrich our community by funding organizations that support art, dance and scholarship programs. Distributions will be made twice a year: around Blaire's birthday in July and during the winter holidays. Your donation is tax deductible.

Please help us honor our daughter's legacy by donating whatever is in your heart. Your generous donation will have an impact on our community and means so much to us.

Please follow along with our outreach projects on Facebook here!

#ShineBrightForBlaire

With gratitude,

Dan, Brooke and Brynn Krekel

In 2021, the FDCARES team had a total of 2,520 visits with patients, including 1,363 proactive visits.
